About me
Hello! My name is Cristina. I studied graphic design and education, and I recently completed a master’s degree in creative writing.
I rediscovered my passion for creating and illustrating children’s books while working in the classroom, where children often inspired my characters. I find beauty in the little things. For instance, I love that children teach us lessons we, as adults, may have forgotten.
As a digital artist, I stay motivated by continuously learning and exploring new techniques, brushes, and textures. This constant exploration not only improves my skills but also brings me immense joy.
I’ve had the privilege of illustrating books for clients in the USA, Canada, and Europe, including The Tall Tales of Torily, Bocca and Bea Find Their Family, Samson the Grumbly Dog, and Sol the Shining Colt.
My inspiration comes from children and nature—I’m always observing.
I like to think that every illustration I create tells a story, with characters that are colorful, expressive, and unique.
